About Quantitative Project Management

The purpose of this process area is to quantitatively manage the project’s defined process to achieve the project’s established quality and process-performance objectives. Establish the project’s objectives. Compose the defined process. Select the subpractices that will be statistically managed. Manage the project performance. Statistically manage the subprocess performance by selecting measures and analytic techniques, applying statistical methods to understand variation, monitoring the performance of the selected subprocesses, and recording the statistical management data.
