Review Bugs

• Review each bug found and, with input from development, testing, and product management, determine the importance of fixing each one to the goals of the project and the current iteration.

Assign Priority to Fix and Iteration

• Assign a priority to fix and iteration to each bug to allow the development team to schedule and address the bug in a timely fashion.

Reproduce Dubious Bugs

• Optional
• If a bug report is unclear or the true impact of the bug is uncertain, the program management team should attempt to reproduce the bug so that they have a good understanding of its real impact and reproducibility.

All newly reported and reopened bugs are reviewed and assigned a priority and iteration.
