About Project Manager
The project manager advocates for program management constituency in the MSF Team Model. The project manager is responsible for the flow of knowledge creation and ultimately the realization of value which comes from delivery of the product outlined in the vision statement. The project manager owns the life cycle of the project from end-to-end. The main goal is to deliver business value within the agreed upon schedule and budget. The project manager is charged with planning and scheduling duties including developing project and iteration plans, monitoring and reporting status, and identifying and mitigating risk. The project manager is also expected to consult with business analysts to plan backlog for the project and its iterations, consult with architects, developers, testers, user education specialists, and user experience architects to estimate work and facilitate communication within the team. |
