Identify Reviewers

• Determine who will participate in the design review.
• The project manager, lead developer, and tester for the design area should participate in the review.
• All developers on the same team as the developer whose code is being reviewed should participate in the review.
• Any stakeholders involved or affected by the design should participate in the review.

Schedule the Review

• Schedule a review meeting with the reviewers.
• Provide sufficient time for each reviewer to read and understand the technical data package before the meeting occurs.
• Plan the length of the review meeting to correspond to how many technical details must be reviewed.

Circulate Design for Review

• Send the technical data package to each reviewer on the list so that they have a chance to see the design before participating in the review. You can provide them a link to the technical data package on the project portal.

The design review meeting is scheduled and a list of participants is identified.
