The plans for a new project must be agreed upon with the organization's integrated program management office (IPMO). The plan must integrate with the plans for resource allocation and scheduling for the organization as a whole. A review is held to gain this agreement. This would normally happen as part of the regular weekly IPMO meeting.
Entry Criteria
- The collected budget, schedule, estimate, resource request, risk management strategy, stakeholder involvement plan, team organization chart, and communication plan for the project.

Present Plans |
- Present the proposed project plans for resources, organization, communication, outline scope, budget, and schedule.

Identify Shared Resources |
- Identify any use of shared resources.

Identify Stakeholders and their Involvement |
- Call out the specific stakeholder involvement required for the project to complete successfully.

4 |
Accept Feedback |
- Based on the presented plans and concerns from other parts of the organization, accept feedback.
- If the feedback is minor, then adjust the plan in the meeting and request consensus.
- If the feedback has a major impact, then agree to rework the plan. Decide whether the rework can be accepted offline or whether the whole plan needs to be represented at a future IPMO meeting.

Obtain Consensus |
- Gain a consensus agreement from the participants that the plan is acceptable.

Exit Criteria
|
The project plan with any modifications required to facilitate wider organization and program issues. | |
