Start Visual Studio Team System.

From the View menu, choose Team Explorer.

In Team Explorer, expand your team project folder, then the Work Items folder, and the Project Queries folder.

Right-click the Active Bugs query, and choose Open in Microsoft Excel.

After you create the bug list, you should save it to the project portal under the Test folder. As bugs are updated, you can refresh the list when it is opened in Microsoft Excel.
