Queries
MSF for Agile Software Development provides a set of work item queries designed to support the activities and roles in the process.
- Active Bugs
This query returns a list of all of your active bugs. This query can also be used to generate a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of your bugs. It can be used at any point during the project once bugs have been written.
- All My Team Project Work Items
Returns all open work items for your team project. This query is useful for team planning, scheduling, and viewing all work assigned to a specific team.
- All Tasks
This query returns all of the active tasks for the team project. This query can be used to generate a task list in Microsoft Project or Microsoft Excel.
- All Work Items (by Iteration) Summary and Drill Down
This query returns a summary list of all work items in the team project iteration. It includes links to each work item to facilitate detailed evaluation.
- Blocked Work Items (by Iteration) Summary and Drill Down
This query returns a summary list of all blocked work items in the team project iteration. It includes links to each work item to facilitate detailed evaluation.
- Change Requests (by Iteration) Summary and Drill Down

This query returns all of the active product requirements (functional, interface, operational, safety, or security) for the team project. This query can be used to generate a product requirements list in Microsoft Excel.
- Project Checklist
This query returns the list of work items that have the exit criteria field marked Yes.
- Resolved Bugs
This query returns a list of bugs that are resolved.

This query returns a status summary of all reviews in the team project iteration. It includes links to each review to facilitate detailed evaluation.
